According to the Wall Street Journal, "The global wheat market is caught between freezing winds and a sirocco. Prices, up 13% since the start of December, likely will keep rising.
The freeze gripping a swath of the U.S. threatens winter wheat planted in the fall. The problem, believe it or not, is a lack of snow rather than too much. While those on the East Coast trudge through the stuff to work, some Midwestern areas haven't enough."
This will factor into prices for wheat prices and this isn't just your pasta, crackers and bread, but I want to remind you that if you are gluten sensitive, you already know that wheat is in (in some form) many shampoos, toothpastes, make up and medications.
This seems a little strange to me since I couldn't find anything that stated there was record lows in snow...and in those lower snow months in the past, I didn't find a single report of price
